From magnum. This shows more fruit and rounder tannin than 750s I tried recently.

Floral nose, strawberry, cherry, mineral, palate, medium body, long finish. Not much earth or depth. 2002 vintage - characteristic.

Very expressive with aromas of red cherry, red raspberry and pomegranate with a super touch of iron laced stones. As it opens it gets spicier and more floral with great red fruit. The palate is seamless with bright red and black cherry fruit, notes of cardamom, mace and more warm stones. Elegant but with a great backbone of tannins and a spine of acidity to keep the wine really focused through a long, precise finish.
