Les Vergelesses Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru Pinot Noir

So open at the staff tasting, so tight at home with Dijon rabbit! This is concentrated, linear wine with a stony minerality to balance out the firm dark fruit. It needs a few years to develop charm.

Light, floral, and tight with a little, no perfume. I don’t want to call it thin, but it was lacking a bit in intensity. Solid green florist and herbal notes, tight concentrated fruit. 

Blackberry but some greener notes. Floral with meaty notes nice acidity in mouth good structure offering long finish

Snake River Grill - summer 2023 dad, Yumee, Joe, Russ

Another great greater Boston restaurant. A surprising full bodied French burgundy. Very different and enjoyable with mostly seafood, but seafood with an edge.

Initially fruity and light. Became drier as it breathed. Paired well with duck.

Jammy. Nice tannin. Deep if simple bouquet. I liked it.

Nose is vegetal and mildly mineral. Very tannic. Almost uneventful. Makes me sad.
