Last night's bottles (2of 2). The 04 Lapierre smelled like farts and tasted like grassy vinegar, but I had to post in honor of dad even having this in his cellar. We decided to open something else and the Cailleret was absolutely yummy. #drinkingwithdad

1998 vintage - takes 30 minutes to open, then classic volnay texture, touch more weight, aromatics stunning if reserved, acid ripping in a great food friendly way, there is lots of love left, no need to rush
