A new one on me. Vaulignot is known for chilly, ascetic expression but this is a 2015 so it's got meat aplenty on the bones. Gorgeous round stone fruit, lees action, malolactic, with the backbone to match as expected but certainly not searing or tight. Balanced and lush, like a thought you want to follow.

Laser-focused Chablis. Crushed sea creature shell minerality. Paired well with last night's Mad Men. And asparagus, kinda.

Pleasant. Fresh, palate cleanser with balanced acid.

Should be consumed with food, e.g. a pasta dish. Alone it stands too exposed. 2/6-2017

Pretty good. Crisp and fresh. Had it with a fatty soup. Great combination

Lack luster for a 1er cru. A bit flabby and lacking acidity.

Great flavor...perfect mineralogy & fruit. Not too dry, not too sweet. Great value.

Well-balanced fruit and minerality. Light oak on the front. Crisp apples and light floral notes in the middle with a smooth finish. A great bargain.
