Very Pinot like nose, also spices and some “cellar scents” but lots of spices, the profile and palate looks Nebbiolo like with a tight, powerful and dry finish, but also lots of class and elegance, very good 91-92
Nez qui pinote un peu, quelques notes de cave, sous bois, beaucoup d’épices, un profil à l’aveugle presque de Nebbiolo, finale puissante et avec une touche asséchante, belle acidité, un vin puissant mais racé, très bon. 91-92

Monsieur Boillot makes some of the finest Volnays and Pommards we know. This one no exception, medium dark rubi color, nose of flowers and dark cherries, medium length, complex and elegant, with highly civilized tannins. Great stuff !
