Moutonne Chablis Grand Cru Monopole Chardonnay

Pretty disappointing for a grand cru, which I expect to give me a lift to the heavens. This needed more minerality and definition.

So razor sharp with so much minerality.

First time with this GC. Did not disappoint.

Nice drink but not much in the mold of what you’re expecting from 1er Cru/ Grand Cru Chablis

Paired well with the abalone sashimi we had.

2013 vintage. Rice pudding on the nose. Ambrosia. Some green melon notes. A lot of oak and vanilla spice in the palate. Acidity is more noticeable here and there's a warming finish. Like this.
