Jadis Faugères Carignane Blend

Plenty of balanced funk!

One of the best wines I have had so far in 2015.
If garrigue were a perfume spiked with red fruits, licorice, spice and exotic flowers it would be how this wine smells. The palate is perfect, if anything a little young as the tannins are a tad firm, but not intrusive. A long, clean finish, purity comes to mind. #faugeres #barral

Nice rich mouthfeel. Earthy nose and palate on 2011. Good food wine

Really good on day 1, dark, tannic, chewy, delish. Day 2 however was tasting stale and had a film growing on top. Fragile living wine! Love these wines!

Nice funky and unique nose and a great geeky wine.

For the record very good with microwave pizza at 2am. Very herbal and dark plum fruit.

This wine is alive, a roller coaster ride of aromas from poopy, to floral, perfumed, to gamey and umami.

Wow. Really like this. Dark fruit and that mentholy zing that spears through the ending.

Bright berries and damp earth.
