2014 vs. 2015 of my favorite $10 bottle. No contest. I've been drinking this wine since 2012 vintage. 2012 and 2015 are why I love this Cabernet Franc. So glad it's back! The 2015 has the impeccable layers reminiscent of the 2012 I was introduced to. Fruit and acid in balance with red raspberry, spice and tobacco notes. Heavier tannin structure than previous vintages. I love it! Best $10 red in my opinion.

An easy to drink wine that combines the structure, minerality, and dusty rose characteristics of Cabernet Franc with the lively, fruitiness of wines from the south of France. Personal note: this particular bottle had quite a bit of sediment.

Crimson in color with aromas of red current, cranberry, tobacco and a slight smokiness. Light bodied with soft tannin and a perky acidity. Flavors of red current, cranberry, sweet herbs, and both black and green pepper. Finishes earthy, herbal and cranberry saucy.
