Les Meix-Chavaux Meursault Chardonnay

Rich and wonderful. Lovely meursault mouthfeel.

Thirst quencher after dealing with the fine New England foliage, which eventually ends up all over our property. 🍂🍂🍃🍃

On the nose, floral/citrus notes run high.
On the palate, ripe tree fruits, citrus, chalk, great acidity, oak makes a light appearance late on the finish.
Great tonight, expect betterment in 2-3 years.

2013. Petrichor and pineapple.

Much better when colder than 55 Fahrenheit. Nice length and interesting spicy notes on the close. The oak is present but not overwhelming.

Way more racy and mineral than I'd expect from anything that says "Meursault" on the bottle. Delicious and pure.

This was quite nice. A very balanced and chiseled wine for Meursault.

Best Meursault producer for the price.

Clean and pristine, racy, as much Chablis as Meursault. Touch of tropics, tons of minerality. Will this become complex or just a nice quaffer?

Even better than the 1st bottle...
