Cuvée Massale Bouzeron Aligoté

matchstick, lime zest, so complex like aligote 1er cru, great acid and richness and so mineral, wow, so so intense .

marl, limestone. 20 days fermentation. 90/10 barrel/steel. lemon, lemon curd, granny smith apple on palate, apple peel pithy. lean, mineral driven, balanced

Had to put this one in the decanter. Even though this wine demonstrated some muscle when opened, air helped it take shape. Great balance in the mouth that showed off the complexity that Aligote can provide .

Another great version of this Bouzeron. Lime zest and minerals on the nose. Super clean and fresh. Terrific palate. Has a lovely balance between richness and freshness. Textured and deep. Awesome purity, depth and structure. Love the combo of richness allied with freshness. Decent length. But what a mid palate.

Delicious !!! I bought a few bottles of this but wish I had gotten more. Concentrated apple and lemon flavors plus minerality and substantial acidity. I enjoyed this on Thanksgiving.

Dynamite. 18 white burgs are fire. Superb smells like. chablis. Huge lime zest. Floral. Lime blossom. Terrific high toned and deep nose. Juicy, deep and pure with great zest and a hint of ample richness. Lovely.

Not the ideal vintage for Aligote but this wine still manages to pull it off. Nose is round and mineral which invites you into a succulent and juicy palate that has more fruit than one would expect from a Bouzeron but perfectly balanced and delicious.

Can we get any more acid with this...

Wow. Aged nose. Golden color. Nuttiness. Astonishing and pure. Very clean. Very pure.
