Cuvée de Très Vieilles Vignes Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Intense cherry and dark plum on the nose. Noticeable oak. Gorgeous purity and intensity. Pretty and floral. Long. I wonder if this oak will dissipate more over time?

Magnum. Lovely

In a lovely spot. Red and black cherry, bits of earth and dark spice. Great texture.

So big and dense. Lots of earthy intensity but not elegant, and not a lot of fun IMO.

Massive fruit on the nose and lovely on the palate. Interesting along side the Bachelet which was more mineral and terroir driven but both beautiful and drinking at their prime.

Very clear and pretty. Pure fruit and stunning. Excellent

Just not a fan of the modern style.
