Menetou-Salon Sauvignon Blanc
Green grass aromas and a nice acidic backbone. Paired with lightly breaded chicken and herbes de Provence potatoes!

Jan 26th, 2017Such a pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc. I find Menetous to express more of the grape and less of the soil than neighboring Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume. Gorgeous lemon-lime, gooseberry fruit soars. Clean and mouthwatering. Long pure finish shows a little herbal/ mineral cling.

Dec 25th, 2016Worth 16.9 of the 17 dollars I paid the Garagiste. I'm only disappointed because he over-hyped it.

Jun 23rd, 2016Super clean and pure - crisp melon and citrus - lacks the clinging grassy quality of some NZ sav Blancs. Memorable.

Sep 11th, 2015Pretty good wine for $17. Medium+ viscosity, nose sees isopropyl alcohol, lemon, honeysuckle, apples. Palette sees medium+ acid, heavy mouthfeel, red apples, lemon, slate.

Feb 25th, 2018Extremely pale straw, white rim, almost water like on the eye. All the acid you'd expect from Sauv Blanc with citrus, lime, white flowers, peaches, and minerality. Enjoyed this one- paired great with Brussels sprout salad/asiago.
