Clos de la Cave Volnay Pinot Noir

Loaded structure and closed early. 3 hour decant showed cranberry & unripe cherry. 6 hours later the bottle showed gorgeous. Cellar this.

Seriously young but showing laser focused Pinot fruit. Concentrated red fruit at its core with black pepper. Finish grips for at least a 60 sec. This is a baby, talk to this in 5 years minimum. Crazy potential

This was better the second night.

Really nice villages Volnay. You can taste the stem inclusion here. Lifted aromatics, red fruits. Stems add an herbal element on the palate. 2013s continue to show well.

Also lovely.
