Could have waited a few more years, but classic st Joseph with black pepper, dark cherries and gaminess!

Solid for the price. Dark fruit, herbs de Provence, medium plus acid and a touch of Brett that adds a gaminess and charm to the wine in this case.

Really tannic (the hard stemmy type), dark, olive, lavender, rather dense. Either needs more time in bottle or less stems in the cuve

something not righrt with this bottle pronunced sour candied fruit.. Other components were soild but the fruit character overwhelmed it. 2007 vintage, bad bottle or past its prime?
