07 is in a fabulous place, expressive, detailed and defined wafting layers of creme de cassis, camphor and violets with a vibrant and velvety palate with soft tannins and a long mineral inflicted finish. An absolute classic and an elegant rendition in 2007, and fully open for business!

We had this on 11/23-24/17. Nice tastes of dark fruit, graphite and spice. Just not as good as the reputation nor price.

Lovely tart, structured nose with green notes. Intense and glorious mid palate. Improved substantially in the glass with classic hermitage savory features bursting through. Really good. Years ahead

Understand this is supposed to be one of the finest Syrahs of the Northern Rhone, and while it was smooth, I was left with too much of that bubble gummy, carbonic maceration taste on the palate.

2007 - not overly complex - in a nice place right now a good Chave but not great
