You can smell that 15 sunshine. Ripe pear, richness, minerals, but very 15 and somewhat chablis. Palate is delicious and rich with a tinge of warmth. Textured and soft but balanced.

Apr 5th, 2024Exoticism, olive? olive juice, so saline, focused, wow the acid, so unique, Complex, saline, compact and unreal finesse and energy. Terrific purity. Inner mouth aromas. Very saline and complex and just so deep and endless. Finishes clean and so so elegant but slathered with minerals and and so long.

Classic Flint, lemony acidity and a bit of green apple. Lean and compact, this needs some time but it already shows great character with a long briny finish

When the price of this doubles in a few years grown men and women will be weeping that they didn’t buy more. Myself included. Explosive fruit and minerality. More than enough balancing acidity for the 15 acidity alarmists. As this opens it has palate expansiveness. My gut is that this will improve with more age. Wow. Bought from Fass Selections. Ok an hour in this is killing it. Profound wine.

This guy is top 5 in Chablis. Maybe the best Chablis to drink young.
Nose is extremely mineral. Lemon zest. Good leap.
Palate is exquisite. Elixir like. Terrific texture. Dense but not heavy handed. Rich but in a Chablis way. Not oaked or vanilla like. A hint of green apple skin. Crazy hedonistic on the palate.
Finish is stunning. Almost honey without the sweetness if that makes sense. Long. Juicy. Perfect.
I’m giving this a 9.5 and not going higher because it’s a premier cru and it would look silly. Also maybe it lacks elite complexity. But it would be hard to find a more Delicious bottle of Chablis at any price.

Gorgeous nose. Big mineral. Big oyster shells and perfume. A sense of richness and ripeness. But classic as Chablis gets. Palate is intense and electric with wonderful purity and freshness. Loads of acidity and minerals to burn. Very long. Good material here and ideally is better in 2-3 years.

After a marvelous Dauvissat at lunch, thought another bottle was fitting. Had no chance of living up to the previous bottle but quite delicious.
