Not as sweet as expected, mushrooms, forest floor, highly textured, full bodied with high acidity, yum!

Richly fruited, yet showing plenty of acidic structure. Fresh apple & pear aromatics which follow all the way to the back of the palate. Virtually weightless on the mid palate, but loaded with complex textural notes accenting the sappy-ish fruit. A masterpiece.

Like a whole botanical garden in a glass. Acidity to balance what isn't all that much sweetness.

While this improved much over the course of an hour, I was getting strong burnt hair on both nose and palette. Opened up into earthiness, old mossy wood, and decomposing apples. I much prefer the 2005.

Wonderful wine to finish a meal. Slight Sauternes easy drinking great finish. Good acids that clean your pallet
