Domaine Huet
Le Haut-Lieu Première Trie Moelleux Chenin Blanc

Deep golden to Amber colour. Lovely restrained nose of bergamot orange, toffee, light apricot marmalade, and caramel. Quite nutted with walnuts, brazilnuts. Racy fresh acid counters the sugar, and overpowers it! Quince, apricot, honey and a savoury mineral long length. Delicious.

Brilliant; same as previous notes, delicious quince, marmalade, apricots and honey. Glorious palate is long and round with years ahead of it. A colossal wine that proves you just leave Chenin to evolve like the chrysalis into the butterfly.
