Domaine Huet
Clos du Bourg Sec Vouvray Chenin Blanc
Medium straw color. Nice acidity and stone fruit aromas. On the palate, fruit may be starting to fade a bit. Enjoyable now, but would start drinking any remaining bottles.

Nov 5th, 2016Completely mature now. In the nose you'll encounter the typical bouquet of wet wool, hay, warm wax, hyacinth, cashew and melon. On the palate it's very round, ripe and creamy. Strange..., this serving doesn't seem completely dry to me... Last bottle from a 6-pack, all other bottles were driz-a-bone.

May 16th, 2016In my book, this is as typical as dry Chenin is going to get. Straw, wet wool, white and yellow fruits, hint of almond in the back. Bone dry, yet rich, floral, clean and vivacious. Dusty, powdery minerality dominates the long finish. Delicious stuff, good QPR.
