Great fruit and earthy forward wine. Ripe and clean with none of that green pepperish taste. Thin and sandy tannins that brings backbone to the wine.

2000 vintage. Huge grassy aroma upon opening. After lengthy decanting, a phenomenal beautiful cab franc emerges, fine tannins, with lush texture and layers of flavor that build to an apex of cold smooth stone, fennel and a slight hint of tobacco. 5.75 out of 6 Jeffersons. This is a gorgeous Loire Valley red, from a badass winemaker.
