Beautifully composed. Certainly aged with lanolin, gentle honey but still fresh, poised and beautifully balanced. Long and pure. Exceptional

Raveneau brunch! Super fresh and energetic showing complex tertiary character and yellow orchard fruit that’s backed by a savory sea spray salinity and piercing ‘96 lemony acid. Continued to build and gain weight and density with air. Last sips were the best!

Straw gold color. Heavier than the 05 Sauzet next to it. A nose that screams aged Raveneau. Notes of ripe apricot, chalky kimmeridgian soil, tan spice, and some honey. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Medium plus finish. Was the perfect compliment to the oysters Rockefeller next to it.

This is serious wine. Open and sophisticated. Oyster shells, salinity. Some muted lemon notes. Incredible balance and poise. This is classic Raveneau. Gorgeous.

Medium gold. Great weight in the glass. Fruit forward nose. Big impact. Notes of sweet apricot, pineapple, kiwi fruit, wet stones and some honey. Rich in the mouth with light acidity at first but it builds with time in the glass. Great texture. Still youthful.

Past it’s prime. Not oxidized, the salinity and acid are still strong but it’s become simple and one demential.
