Round and full on the nose. Quite ripe with a hint of preserved orange. Plush and full/ never would guess a Raveneau if blind. Hmm

Wow. Beautifully settled nose. Delicate white flowers, a softened salinity with minerals and oyster shells. Subtle yet quietly intense. With the freshness and depth of grand cru Rav. Understated but long and beautiful.

Obviously very young, but also drinking surprisingly well. Shows striking innner sweetness, with gorgeous tropical fruit and white fruit character.

Light gold. Shiny and heavy in the glass. Knockout nose with notes of apricot, light honey, tan spice, white clay and wet stone. Fat and glycerol in the mouth. Not showing a lot of acidity to match the fruit. A nice richness comes on in the finish. Killer nose. Ready to be consumed.

Outshone by the pedigree and heft of Clos, this more mineral Blanchot was singing regardless. Lemon, ginger, florals, bright with wood integrated wonderfully.
