2009 Domaine Francois Lamarche Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits I am getting on the nose strawberries, red fruit and a little funk. On the palate I am really enjoying the cranberry, red raspberries, a bit of strawberry. The tannin is a joy that dries the mouth just enough with a bit of minerality acidity and soil. I think this is very good lite summer Pinot. I am totally enjoying this.

Pale and a touch cloudy. Rose hips, beer root, layers of aromas. Delicately caressing tannins...more, please!

Great regional Nuits Borgogne, solid deal at $14 for a red Burgundy (aka Pinot Noir). Red fruits, sappy with a tinge of tea, minerality and some stem. Great acidity, supple but noticeable tannin, finishes fresh and clean.

Getting better with more open air time. Strawberry, cherry, tea, citrus and wet decaying tree. Ruby red in color like Dorothy’s shoes.

Love it. Just so nice to enjoy a bottle when you can just open it, pour it and drink it. Last Friday of Lent so another meatless meal.

Small, crunchy red berries, sous bois, med+ acid, tart finish. Prototypical Bourgogne 👌
