Domaine Franck Millet
Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc
Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, melon and lime citrus with notes of pepper and spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice!

Sep 6th, 2024A beautiful golden yellow in color leads to a delightful aroma of freshly squeezed lemons, with hints of oranges and minerality. There is a fresh, crisp, clean taste to this wine. A saline taste at first that gives way to good citrus favors. A good minerality of river rocks and limestone on the backend. I can see anyone sipping this on a warm summer evening and enjoying the hell out of it.

A great refuge was this little restaurant outdoors but tucked away in a grove of trees. We quickly ordered this wine with lunch and though not overly complex with its lemony maybe buttery character, it did the trick as a refreshing mid-day reprieve from the heat. A touch sweet and as I say, simple, but alright.

Dec 22nd, 2018Big difference in Sancerre and Sauvignon Blanc even though there isn’t a difference there is a huuuuge difference I taste. I love Sancerre. I don’t like most Sauvignon Blanc’s. 🧐 oh the irony...
