Aux Echezeaux Vieille Vigne Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

This was phenomenal. Elegant and just hitting all the notes. We drank this wine in a perfect spot

Opened up much faster than the 15 village. Explosive floral and red fruits on the nose, velvety tannins and right amount of acidity. Faded a little bit after 2-3 hours.

Young and quite attractive. Very smooth with Silky tannins and bright red fruit. 2014 reds are delivering some early pleasure.

Still young and carries some fat. I’d love to taste in 5-10 years, when the fruit is less dominant.

Good solid wine

No one picked this out as a Gevrey-Chambertin in blind tasting. Producer style overshadows origin.

Smoked meat, oregano, raspberry, forest floor, coca-cola, bark, cranberry, Rosemary. Wow.

Strawberry, fresh cherry and fresh turned dirt. A baby but massively tasty. Super primary which is a #nss for sure
