Not really sure what the issue is. Not corked. Consistent with another bottle tasted a couple years ago and not archived on Delectable. An initial bottle a handful of years ago showed pretty well. Aromtically there is fresh, red fruit character and some secondary development. The palette is reminiscent of having whole cluster influence with stems not being lignified or ripe, or another unidentifiable flavor marring the fruit. Not a lot of purity of Pinot flavor. On the second day the wine almost seems as if it is turning to vinegar. So bizarre and unfortunate.

Deep ruby color with a garnet rim. Beautifully coordinated aromas and flavors of black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit, mushroom, leather, mocha, forest floor, baking spices, brown sugar and wet soil. Lovely oak integration on the long and persistent finish. Velvety tannins and well balanced acidity and alcohol. Soft texture. So fresh and harmonious. Really appreciate you opening this bottle, Keith S!

Fruit forward for a Burgundy: tastes more like a Californian Pinot. But very well-made, with strong berry flavor and nose. A great value at $56.
