Light with cherry, violet and lifted poised fruit. Less flesh than the younger ones. Great clarity

The easy call for WOTN and one of the best showings of the year. Stayed on the upswing the whole night and continued to improve. It mesmerizes with its stunning aromatics, incredible complexity, seamless balance, finesse, vibrancy and structure. This bottle really had it all. Outstanding.

Ohhh in such a good place. Deep, rich and complex, layered with red and black fruit, sweet stems, spice and mineral infusion. Lovely perfume, delineation and vibrancy give way to a long and harmonious finish.

The 2017 vintage has shown itself to be so giving in its early stages and there was no exception here. So expressive and with a wonderfully alluring bouquet. Red rose pedals, rich black and red fruit, Dujac spice, stems and pixelated minerals. It’s expansive on the palate with terrific intensity, depth and lovely purity. Finishes with excellent length, focus and vibrant lift.

What a stunner. Terrific energy and depth. Cherry and cola and thyme maybe. Sophisticated as hell.

Black cherry, cocoa, lingering earth notes and tannins. Good stuff.

A perfect match @delectable. Tasting the 2014 brings back so many memories of visiting the domaine when I covered Burgundy. Today, the 2014 is wonderfully vibrant, with striking Chambolle sweetness that is tempered by its nervous, ethereal frame. Hold it for a few years if you can.
