Tasted blind. Reddish purple but light and translucent. Notes of raspberry, dark fruit, spice and some rhubarb. Puckering and chewy in the mouth. Still present tannins. Was nice today but this will be better in 10-15 years.

Gorgeous, pure and exceptionally beautiful, with fabulous texture. Even so, the 2002 needs at last 5 more years and probably more to be at its best. Today the aromatics are not especially expressive.

Beautifully concentrated dark blue fruit. Lovely salinity and a blueberry intensity. Gorgeously savory palate. Primary, young and brooding. Excellent
