Citrus, passion fruit, nice acid and a bit more weight from the Chardonnay. Really nice. Shrimp tacos worked great.

Domaine du Salvard has been a working domaine since 1898, through five hardworking generations of the Delaille family. Light straw with stone and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate crisp apple with lemon citrus notes. This medium-body wine was smooth and a mineral touch with overall good balance. The wine finishes with a savory touch on a mid-length ending. Nice value!

A very herbacious grassy nose that is not quite at catpee with a hint of an oxidative nature, much less aggressive on the palate than in the nose. It exhibits grapefruit rind and a hint of tangerine peel in the finish. The 15% Chardonnay gives the mid-palate a nice round feel.

Lots of aroma, especially on opening. Green apple, citrus, maybe grapefruit, apricot, something grassy that I can't identify yet, nice minerality, like wet stone esp on the finish which I like. Complexity and balance esp for a good value white. The blend of Loire sauv bl and char is really good. Nice acidity too

Meyer lemon, lime zest, unripe stonefruit, grass, flint stones, and cattails by the water (so weird). Light bodied, high acidity, and a great finish. A salad of pea tendrils, fava leaves, fresh herbs, and a fresh farmers cheese comes to mind.

Great value. A little more NZ than Loire to me, tbh

15% chard gives this an exceptional roundness along with the cutting chalky mineral notes and salty preserved lemon fruit. And half the price of Sancerre.
