Tawny color. A little cloudy. High pitched nose. Crazy at first and over the top. With three hours of air this settles in to show notes of tart cherry, herbs, herbal balm, raspberry, and some mint. Rich and heavy in the mouth. Medicinal. Got better over the evening as it gained some air.

Pretty boss. Just entering its fully mature phase. Fruit has become delicate, red and fresh. Black olive tapenade, beef broth, and herbs de Provence rage behind. Brett would be a picky complaint here, but it's very well dialed in for me. Showing its pedigree every bit as one of the greatest wines of the southern Rhône.
