Earth on the nose. Nice plum flavors. Some spice. Nice liveliness on the palate. Well made for what it is. Solid Tuesday night wine. I’m having with steak n Roquefort sauce. Vive la France ... ok getting even better as it opens. More savory. Burgundian ? Pommardian ? Mos def dense in an elegant good way. Nose is getting sick. I love drinking well made wines. They get so much more interesting as they open. ... almost a Rhône burgundy cross. Very elegant. Bizarre. But great.
