Always love this wine and easily a top 3 Crozes Hermitage. Nose is all black olive, green love and lurid blackberry fruit. Terrific granite and minerals. Super refined yet wild and so expressive. Ocean air. Red berries. Super complex. Wow the palate is juicy and has wonderful ripeness and legit finesse. Major structure and depth. Finished olivey. Gamey elements as well. Drinking so well. Really wonderful, expressive and floaty mid palate. I love this wine.

Dec 10th, 2021A brilliant vintage for this wine. A top 5 Crozes. Easy. Spice, game, some funk, blueberry, black berry, black cherry, huge granite and even some wilted flowers. Young but tasty palate of dazzling granite and velvety tannins and engaging energy from the minerality. Terrific power, depth and concentration. Needs 5 years. So long and such beautifully defined fruit on the incredibly long finish. Really rich and dark. Awesome. Wait 5 years. As this opens the balance becomes superb. Almost a 9.4. I’ll be back.
