Quintessential nose. Little hot and flabby on palate TBH. The longer this stays open, the lower the rating gets. An absolute chore to finish this bottle. Oof.

Excellent example of Oregon/Dundee Pinot. Fruit is fresh, forward and exciting at first pour and blends harmoniously with some air. Subtle hints of darker and deeper flavors appear and give this a rounded texture. Medium finish. Recommended.

Great Pinot, and the 16 is in line with the previous vintage. Fruit and minerals finely balanced. Long finish. Delicious. Rating affirmed 5/30/20. One of the greatest WestCoast Pinots.

A very nice wine for our anniversary with Pat’s grilled steak ($22 375 ml). fruity and earthy.

Different Pinot for me. Raspberries and strawberries on the nose. Earthy and spices come in on taste. Medium finish with well balanced tannins. First time drinking this…unexpected… but nice wine.

Domaine Drouchin, Dundee Hills Pinot. Red garnet color. Dark tart cherry nose bursts from the glass; with other scents of wet forest floor and vanilla. Smokey and floral notes linger. A lovely smooth dark cherry taste and tartness with cedar and pine notes. Tea, minerals and vanilla-strawberry give a nice medium acidic finish. Drinking nicely on this cool Friday evening.

One hour decant. A prodigious medium dark garnet color. On the nose: tart cherry, smoke, wet forest floor, vanilla, floral. Taste: A smooth, restrained, little bit juicy, medium body wine with cherry, tea, spice, minerals, and a strawberry vanilla medium plus finish. Drink or hold a few years. Cheers!

Smoke and clove nose. Lighter side of medium body. Moderately dry, some acid. Strawberries, raspberries on palate. Nice.

Cherry, a little pepper. Medium tannins and acid. Good to drink on its own, or serve with a variety of foods. Vegetables, poultry, pork. Very good, but a little pricey for what it is.
