Lovely wine and flexible with a lot of foods we enjoyed at Single Thread.

I thought this wine was at least 10 years old when tasted blind. Excellent secondary savory nuances that complimented beautiful layers of red fruit and spice. Very solid wine!

Black cherry and plum, gravel, black licorice, damp earth, seems like a good bit of new oak, bit rustic

Secondary flavors emerging, balance, pretty. Living up to the hype for the vintage.

Yes admittedly a 2005 vintage but a village Chambolle that is absolutely singing after 90 minutes of air! There is the expected freshness with good fruit, tannins not fully resolved though very drinkable right now!

Still showing fresh and lively, sprinkle of bret in the nose, opened up to reveal smokey herbal aromas, great red fruit front and center, complex and structured. A joy to drink!
