2004 has often been a disappointing vintage for me, but au contraire this wine is excellent. Mellow without biting acidity, medium bodied and flavourful. Sublime finish with lingering hint of tannin holding down the gullet.

Smells like leather. Tastes of tea and spices. Fine tannins that are prominent all over the mouth. Fairly structured.
