2004 has often been a disappointing vintage for me, but au contraire this wine is excellent. Mellow without biting acidity, medium bodied and flavourful. Sublime finish with lingering hint of tannin holding down the gullet. — 6 years ago
Medium color and body. Bursting with red fruit flavours. Silky texture but decent remaining tannin suggests several more years drinking window. Lingering finish makes this very pleasant. — 6 years ago
Subtle but sweet violet nose. Red fruit, cherry, ample tannin but smooth mid palate, lasting finish with pucker. At its peak. — 7 years ago
