Purchased at tasting room. Inky, moderately extracted, purple in color. Mint, vanilla, briar and cherry Kool-Aid notes in nose. Blueberry, raspberry and later cranberry flavors, moderate seed bitterness, light skin astringency on front of tongue. Tight style, and definitely needs time to open; cola, strawberry, black tea and green olive flavors emerge a day after opening. You could age this one a while as the tannin structure is present. Worth watching this promising young operation as their estate vineyard comes into production

File this under Pinots I Didn’t Hate. Smooth and velvety, this ruby knockout goes down easy. We paired it with some real pedestrian food - rice one night, burgers another, but the juxtaposition of this silky, refined number against the simple, brutish flavors was outstanding. She’s a keeper this one.

Very light, strawberry, not very complex. Easy drinking Pinot with or without food.

After letting this breathe for a bit, this Pinot settled into it’s elegance. Berry forward, light tanins.

Elegant, red fruit Pinot that stays true to the Burgundian style.
