The fruit is restrained. Medium tannins and a decent amount of acidity, with an olive tapenade note on the palate. A rustic, earthy wine. Well-made for the style, fans of earthy wines should enjoy it.

Juicy, ripe fruit. Chocolate, touch of charcoal. Begins on the sweet side but finishes with some chalk. Not much length. Really enjoyed it.

The ancient intriguing Gaillac region producing unique wines. Somehow changing the meaning of what a rustic wine is. Earthy and spicy lrose but still showing red fruits and minerality, thumbs up to Domaine des Terisses Gaillac for this rose.
