No notes. Young Saumur cab franc. Dark fruited & not funky. Shared with friends at a restaurant with a roaring hearth for all the cooking, so it had to be good.

Glouglou!!! young vines, think that they’re growing biodynamically, bright, crunchy, snappy delicious! red cherry, a bit green pepper. I enjoy this so much.

Love this Cab Franc! Fresh and zesty with dark fruit and enough of that earthiness that I love. Delicious wine!!

Very nice extremely drinkable red. Caught my eye as last time we had a wine from Les Poyeux was a Clos Rougeard at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans. This was at Balthazar. Definitely on the more glou glou side of things - but quite enjoyable. And a nice pairing with a frisée lardon, halibut, and a steak au poivre.
