Love this wine. Kitchen sink blend of Savoie heirloom grapes. Nose is a bit funky but full of red and purple fruits and so much earth and wild flowers. Some cassis and dog food aromas as well. Juicy and energetic palate with lovely fruit intensity and persistence. Good concentration and acidity. Fruit is all red and purple. Zero elegance. Lots of charm.

Oct 30th, 2022Love this wild Savoie kitchen sink red blend. Really a terrific wine for the money. Really vivid nose of pure cherry fruit and mountain spices. Fir trees. Hint of game. Almost sausage. Saucisson. But high toned and floral as well. Palate is ripe and clean with terrific clarity and freshness. Very energetic and linear with terrific length and lovely dash of mineral intensity on the finish. A great wine. Terrific concentration and the best most charming rusticity. Surprisingly persistent. I mean really persistent.

Nose is dusty earthy and loads of berry fruit. Mineral and precise with just loads of fruit on the nose. So pure. Palate has loads of crunchy berry fruit that is blue and black with light tannin and terrific freshness. Sappy and even a little complex. Great value.

Palate is bright and deep, with lovely texture and juiciness. Terrific elegance and power allied with a medium body. Wonderful freshness and purity. Excellent length and balance. Hint of rusticity and so bright yet also grapey and dark. It’s really delicious and so unique.

One of the cooler wines I've had in a while. Reminded me of Mondeuse. Crushable for sure. Crunchy and clean from grapes I've mostly never heard of. Great stuff.

Crazy red blend from Isere. This has a very high “yum” factor! It also reflects its terroir between Savoie and the Rhône. Pure fruit, earth, some pepper — both black pepper and sweet red pepper.

Lousy day. So I’m having pasta with radicchio and pecorino and this wine
Fresh blackberry grapes crushed in your mouth. Some licorice. Perfect.
Nose is fresh and fruity.
