Domaine des Perdrix
Nuits St. Georges Pinot Noir
Nuits St. Georges, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy, France
This is a favorite of mine. Vanilla and berries. Bright and happy.

B-E-A-UTIFUL and brick red! Had that Burgundian funk on the nose, tea leaves, ripe red fruit and cranberry, and on the pallet a whole woven structure of emmese flavors, ripe cherries and raspberries, and a soft, lasting finish. What a fantastic experience.

Pale and Bright ruby in color with an orange rim, starting to show age.
Big nose of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, plums, white pepper, earth and dirt.
Dry on the palate with currents, strawberries, dirt, spices, and grass.
Medium finish with soft tannins.
This is a nice burgundy Pinot Noir with a complex nose, but not so much on the palate.
13 percent alcohol by volume.

Medium dark rubi robe with good transparency, nose of asian spices, dark fruits and notes of tobacco. Utterly delicious in the mouth, this is truly a north appellation wine that is closer in style to a Vosne Romanée. Great now, but better in 5 to 7 years.

So excellent for a villages level. 70-yr old vines. Perfumed, spiced nose and rich velvety red fruits. Bright cherry. Lovely acidity. Firm tannic structure. Just great! Less complex than the 1er cru (which I’m saving for Christmas Day) but equally enjoyable.

2019 vintage. Last tasted 10.26.22 (9.3). Decanted, chilled down to upper-50's and tasted after 45 minutes. Great color. Medium-heavy body. Still great spice presence and fairly plush. 3.28.24.

2019 vintage. Surprisingly, hooky lead vocals drinkability with decent backing fruit and a helluva solo electric guitar spice bridge. Ripe and ready to rock. California-styled French effort.
