Been looking for Kagami for quite a few years and this bottle far exceeds expectations. Crisp, vibrant and precise with a minerality that is electric. Pure, clean, astounding. Definitely one of the most compelling bottles of Jura Chardonnay I’ve had.

Ganska söt honungslik doft. Smakmässigt är den påtagligt syrlig med stram frukt och lite jästig beska. Frukten drar åt gröna äpplen, gula plommon och lime. Känns som den kanske dalat lite och borde öppnats tidigare.

I love this wine. It is a very pure but intense expression of Jurassic Chardonnay that I have loved drinking over the past couple of years. There is something that has flawed every bottle (hence the meh score: a lack of stability when not consumed immediately. Invariably it will develop a cloudiness and an odd taste after a night in the fridge. This was one of Kagami's first vintages however, and subsequent ones do not seem to have this issue, so if you have some 2011, drink up in one go!
