Better than some other bottles I've had

98.... perfection....at least as bottle number 6

Still young!!

I had some doubts when we opened it but after a half hour it was profound. Intensity and concentration that had nothing to do with wood or alcohol. Beautiful texture.

Red cherry and purple flowers. Starting to drink well, but still has some firm grip on the back end.

Ok this is a Volnay Clos des Chenes Premier Cru Pinot Noir, not a Meursault Chardonnay...

Defective

A 1990 that could be mistaken for 2005 or 2009. A remarkable wine!

Nez de fruits noirs, des épices, une bouche assez dense, de belle texture, d’une insolente jeunesse, bel équilibre, magnifique. 93-94

Dark fruit and spices, the palate is dense, great texture, good acidity, very balanced, feels so young, gorgeous.
