Argile Blanc Allobroges Jacquère Blend

That light lemony Jacquere-ness combines well with the Chard and apparently with the Mondeuse Blanc, not that I’ve ever tasted that as a varietal before. Nice blend with both acidity and loveliness as well as richness, roundness, texture and length.

Only 10%, so just enjoyment here. Currant and tannins to power through that Bouchon fare

What a wine! 40% jacquère, 40% chardonnay, 20% mondeuse blanche, 100% pleasure.
The nose shows chalk, white and yellow peach, white flowers, some subtle citrusy notes, wow this is great! The palate is extremely well made with a great acid drive, some juicy and delicious fruit notes all along (peach, lemon), some of that chalky mouthfeel that is reminiscent of the nose, a good width, some grip too, and a very long and delicious with fruit and that acid drive that makes it super long. This is one hell of a Savoie blanc wine... Very recommended

Pretty light straw colour . Touches of ripe apple , white flowers and seaside scents . On the palate nice ripe red apple , quince and pear , medium bodied more full than many Savoie whites , white pepper , quite mineral and persistent , good acidity , refreshing . Drink now and over the next 3 -4 years .

Reminded me of a dry Riesling. Nice on a hot summer day.
