Really nicely done for a global warming era Chablis. Nose has lots going on. Orchard fruit, citrus zest, deep, slightly brothy limestone minerality, meadow clover. On the palate it’s lean but full-flavored. Still feels like it needs a year or two for all the angular components (acids, minerality, some phenolic bitters) to integrate, but it’s very, very good now.

Not sure why I pulled this from the Chardonnay shelf. Compact and linear, but not over-chablisean.

Light gold color, flinty, seashells, apples, smooth yet showing tension. A pleasure, great QPR

Lovely wine. Not a ton on the nose, but delicious. Some weee getting a funky taste on the finish. I didn’t. Paired this with a Cakebread reserve Chardonnay to compare styles.
