Delaille Cheverny White Blend

Sauvignon blanc is dominant on the nose. Loads of grass, lemon peel, grapefruit, herbaceous elements, and salinity. Palate hits fast with acid and citrus notes, which quickly planes into a more softer, round, elegant finish. Chardonnay enters the party late but makes a great impression. Really nice blend, two varietals highlighting some of their best attributes in one bottle.

Lots of aroma after opening the bottle. Notes of pear, tarragon, some kind of grassy aroma, and violets. Quite fruit forward on the tongue with pear, peach, and apricot. Not much acidity and a clean finish that does not linger.

Very crisp with apple notes

Not for me at all. Like a chard almost.

Very aromatic, with scent of flowers (honeysuckle), chalk, and white peach; taste matches smell; white stone fruit and minerals; bright acid (perhaps ever so slightly unbalanced towards acid), long finish. Delicious and great value.

Very very solid cheverny ... an explosion of aromas with white flower, grapefruit, tangerines and honeydew melon, round, well balanced acidity and nice long citrus finish

I am not a white drinker but this is a well balanced absolutely lovely white.
