Tasty little number... 100% Counoise. Red raspberry and currant, black pepper, brown spices, and grippy tannin. All on a medium weight body.

Apparently the "pros" aren't crazy about this one. It is not a blend. I think it is 100% old vine Cunoise. Nose is leather and tar. Flavor doesn't match : spice, fig , blackberry. Little funk in the finish. Me likey...

Tasted on February 21 2015.
Bright deep red colour, brick red halo.
The bouquet is closed with scents of raspberry, cassis, reglise.
Attack is strong and equilibrated with prominent tannins, blackberry and spices.
Medium caudalies, cassis.
This wine, which was very good 4 years ago, has declined.
Not disagreeable. To drink now.
