Tasted October 29, 2015.
Cork in perfect condition.
Brilliant, ripped cherry red color, bright red ring.
Closed bouquet, leather, tobacco, spices.
Straightforward attack, structurated, pleasant tannins. Blackcurrant, leather, wood, coffe.
Long caudalies (>60''), tobacco, spices, some pleasant bitterness.
IMPRESSION: Discordance between a light bouquet and a powerful taste. Very pleasant 17 years-old bottle, probably opened 3-4 years too late. Quite enjoyable wine nevertheless. — 6 months ago
Tasted February 19, 2015.
Bright ruby color, brick red halo (seems older than its age).
Blackberry, a little scent of smoke, not a complex bouquet.
Pleasant and progressive attack, tannins come first, then blackberry, unripe raspberry, a mild acidity, reglise.
Long caudalies, a little astringent, reglise, mint.
A pleasant wine dominated by the braquet grape, still young, to drink now or in 1-3 years (I don't think this vintage is going to improve after that)

This app could potentially be an outstanding reference for oenophiles. Unhappily, many comments are not interesting. We don't care somebody has the some bottle or - probably - if the wine was good or not since there is no description (as Beeman's and Lloyd's below).
Could I suggest the date of degustation be noted as well as eye, nose, palate and after taste impressions, followed be the overall opinion?
Here is my description of this bottle:
Cantenac Brown 2002
Tasted 29/11/14 (bought in 2006).
Dark red color, light red/onion skin halo.
Red fruits, cassis, leather, some tobacco,
Pleasant 'attack', round tannins but short lasting. Short caudalies.
Deceptive Cantenac Brown (2002 was not a good vintage in France) most of all because of the price. Nonetheless an overall pleasant bottle. 5.5/10.
