Cheverny Sauvignon Chardonnay Blend

This 2019 is a stringent bottle here. Tight and unforgiving. I was surprised by the acid. I was expecting something a bit more mellow and minerally. Just needs more time. (Tried in July 2021.)

Really smooth, with an apple blossom aroma. Sweet, quite rounded with a nice tame acidity.

Mmmm bouquets of fresh picked hibiscus and wild blackberries with a touch of white pepper. High acidity, light bodied, low tannins, perfect for apéro with tapas.

Juicy body: med low Alcohol: med Tannin: med high Acidity: med sweetness: dry

Blackberries! High acid! Light body! Herbaceous! I’m very into this.
