Needed about an hour to open up, integrated oak, classic ripeness of the vintage, beautifully balanced, just the right amount of development.

Young, but still so smooth. Lacks depth - give it time.

Sour red and black cherries, wet soil, vanilla, funky in a good way. Kirsch. Hint of spice. Opened up after about 30-45 minutes. M+ acid. M body. M chalky tannins. A bit of minerality. M finish.

Sweet and seductive red berries, toasty oak and sous bois aromas flows into a medium bodied palate where dissolved tannins and positive acididy counterbalance its surprisingly rich fruit flavors. Seriously well done. Slightly monolithic finish, but drinking dangerously well right now.

Definitely solidifying the quality of this producer, it's a little reductive upon opening, but after about an hour/half it starts to sing, just the right amount of oak spice, the balance is outstanding, purity of terroir/varietal is what you look for in the best burgundies.

Deep vanilla oakiness graced by cherry, hints of cola, sassafras, deep burgundy soils, velvety tannins, minerality (yes, I said it), acid, balanced, integrated. Just a bit of funk on the nose that's blowing off quick.

Lovely notes of spices, cinnamon, soy sauce and sandalwood greet the senses.

On the palette, there is wonderful barrel toast which is perfectly integrated. Tannins are also ripe and precise. Cherries dominate. This is classic burgundy - superb!

I like the music but I hate to pay, very pure & somewhat expensive. Wanting for more at this $$$$
