Maybe it's the vintage, but this wine is pleasantly ripe with out a hint of heat or stewed fruitiness that seems to be rampant throughout the CDP region. Very fresh but not lacking complexity. I think this will be a very well aged wine in the future.

Lovely wine. Some star struck cross between mushrooms and dried flowers. Soft fruit gives way to its bolder earth. Elegantly structured and beautifully layered. This will only improve with a few years rest.

Love it. Rich, integrated tannins. Great fruit. Friend went off to order some after having it.

Large scaled and intense with remarkable freshness considering the vintage. Dried figs and pan fried herbs dominate the mature tasting finish.

2012: good fragrance, dark plums and cherries, violets, lavender and spices. Quite a big beast on the palate, full, tannic, super extracted. Very modern and intense. Needs 3-4 years

2013: quite extracted. Dark and rich, rum and raisin. Lacking charm for the appellation. Big and clumsy.
